The End of Logins/My Internet Privacy Pledge

Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Whereas, the Internet has resulted in censorship and near total lack of privacy by organizations and governments,

  • There is no such thing as “Internet Security” as reported by the Government, Corporate and other institutions that they directly or implicitly control,
  • Surreptitious code called “Cookies” have been installed on our computers and phones to track and monitor us without our permission for at least 20 years (1),
  • Beyond the target site login process we are usually given only two options to login via non-privacy,  Anti-US Constitution websites:

    Login using Google
    Login using Facebook

The website owner having these login methods massively increases our loss of privacy.  Facebook and Google have no protections for your privacy and assures your master profile (connected to your IP address) will be updated with site activity and always sold to the highest bidder.    This is how Big Tech has become unbearably rich, and powerful.

We the People have been forced to rely exponentially on the Internet for virtually all forms of communications with organizations and institutions to live our lives.  Against our will, we have been largely forced to give up our Rights to Privacy in order to participate in Society.

As such, it is abundantly clear that the Internet is now inherently insecure in all respects.  This results in a danger to the public financially, politically in an evolving Orwellian Society.

Therefore, I do hereby declare, in order to protect myself and my family and help secure all of our Rights to Privacy, the following:

  • All of my website activity will be accomplished through anonymous browsers or VPN type connections (2) that keep my IP address secured from unknown persons, beyond my control (3).
  • Login credentials such as Usernames/Passwords will only be provided for financial sites and other websites that I do business with.   All other websites used for dissemination of general or public information, such as Media Organizations and Community Forums that require login credentials, will be avoided or used minimally under an anonymous connection as noted above.

Even as these actions may have minimal macro impact in the short term, I will do what I can to help people regain privacy with available electronic tools and not willingly participate in the New Society where inalienable human rights are subjugated by the powerful few.

Therefore, I Pledge to engage in the above actions, to the best of my ability, in order to secure and protect my inalienable and God given right to privacy by helping to prevent illegal “searches” against persons and personally owned electronic devices per the United States Constitution, Fourth Amendment.

And, to communicate this Pledge to websites I may visit so that they may adjust site access accordingly, I will attempt to contact site owners where possible with this Pledge of Privacy Declaration.   Finally, Companies that don’t want to deal with customers in any way, instead using 3rd party go-betweens like “Zendesk” that are now ubiquitous because none of us complained,  will also be avoided and notified of same.

PLEASE PASS THIS ON FAR AND WIDE.

(1) The GDPR Law requiring new notices on Cookie Use went into effect on 25 May 2018.  The GDPR set higher standards for the collection and storage of personal data, with fines for websites that fail to disclose that they collect personal information on website visitors.

(2) Examples:  VPN connections, Murena and other phones with “advanced privacy” features that prevent cookies, hide your location and provide anonymous IP addresses.

(3) This includes “storefront” websites so if you want to run an Internet business, you will need to eliminate Cloudflare and similar website protection applications that “secure” websites by making visitors visible and unsecure. This would be like you walking into a store to make a cash purchase and not being able to do so unless you give the store owner your Drivers License or Social Security Card!
